Clinical Supervision
Build confidence. Strengthen your clinical skills. Grow into the clinician you want to become.
My Supervision Philosophy
I believe the best supervision balances support with challenge.
My role isn't simply to provide answers—it's to help you develop the clinical reasoning, confidence, and independence needed to make thoughtful decisions long after supervision has ended.
I strive to create an environment where questions are encouraged, feedback is constructive, and learning feels collaborative rather than evaluative. My approach is structured while remaining flexible enough to meet you where you are in your professional development.
-
Clinical supervision is available for New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs) working toward independent licensure. If you're unsure whether supervision with me is the right fit, I'd be happy to discuss your goals during a consultation.
-
My supervision style is collaborative, structured, and educational. I aim to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, discussing challenges, and exploring different approaches without fear of judgment. Sessions are designed to help you leave with greater confidence, clearer clinical direction, and practical tools you can immediately apply.
-
Anything related to your clinical work and professional development, including case conceptualization, documentation, ethical concerns, interventions, treatment planning, difficult sessions, professional boundaries, and developing your identity as a clinician.
-
My approach balances guidance with independence. Rather than telling you exactly what to do, I focus on helping you develop strong clinical judgment, confidence, and the ability to think critically about your work. My goal is for you to become an increasingly independent and competent clinician.
-
Yes. Individual supervision is offered virtually for clinicians throughout New Jersey, providing flexibility while maintaining a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
-
Before beginning supervision, we'll review a supervision agreement that outlines important details such as scheduling, fees, payment expectations, cancellation policies, confidentiality, and each of our responsibilities throughout the supervision process. Payment is due at the time of each supervision session unless otherwise arranged. My goal is to ensure expectations are clear from the beginning so we can focus on your professional growth.
More Than Meeting a Requirement
Clinical supervision is more than completing hours toward licensure. It's an opportunity to refine your clinical skills, develop your professional identity, and gain the confidence needed to navigate complex cases with competence and integrity.
My goal is to create a collaborative learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, exploring clinical challenges, and expanding your knowledge while developing your own authentic style as a therapist.
